Isn't it amazing when you come across a word for the first time in some book or the newspaper you are reading and then see that word again and again and again ...
The funny thing is that you would not have noticed the word any time before you first saw the word.
Schadenfreude is one such word. I must have seen this word the first time I was reading Fooled By Randomness. But that was before I was learning German. I noticed this word when I was re-reading FBR and then kept seeing it all over the place - in magazines, in newspapers, in e-mails.
Has something similar happened to you before?
